HOW IT WORKS
The credits are allocated to each participant’s account.
One-third of the money is reserved to cover the cost of future orders, and the rest I will use to buy critical kit like a freezer etc, certain stock items, and whatever else is necessary to get me through the first couple of months.
To start with, I will only offer a limited number of products online, especially concerning fresh meat.
However, every month, I will send an exhaustive meat & grocery price/order list to each player, including the production schedule for the various sausages before I publish it online. Coming up are favourites like Russians, Cumberland, Pork & Ale, Pork & Leek, Red Onion & Garlic, etc. as well as a couple of nice things for the festive season.
I will then promptly fulfill the order, debit each participant’s account accordingly, and send an updated statement with the order.
Timeline:
If I can manage to pull the cash together, I will need the rest of October to finish all the preparation work, stock up, and work my notice time at Emmaüs. The first product/price/order list will go out 1/11/2023.
Background
After the stroke, heart repairs, and the subsequent I am now physically, emotionally, and organisationally ready to leave Emmaüs and recommence with business and normal life.
I have come to an agreement to work with Renier Kruger (Bull’s Pub) to open a shop/depot (www.bluebullshop.ch) in the same building as the Bull’s Pub. We’ve already built and set up a biltong dryer, very basic kit, plus a range of Blue Bull products, and we have already started selling on a minimal scale.
Currently, I do a bit of wors, biltong, etc. via www.boerewors.ch – all outsourced as I can’t operate otherwise from where I am at present.
What I need to leap safely is max 8k cash flow (25k credits sold) to be able to leap safely:-)
